DACA Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals:
The Obama Administration, on June 15, 2012, announced it will grant “deferred action” for two years to anyone who came to the U.S. before age 16 and is now 30 or younger, if he or she has lived here for 5 years, is a student or has earned a high school degree or GED or served in the military, and poses no threat to public safety or national security.
